Dorot has been drawing since she was three years old. After studying Industrial Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, she built a successful career in design, creating many innovative products. While she occasionally illustrated for websites, exhibitions, and marketing materials, it was during the pandemic that she began drawing every day.

This daily practice made Dorot realize that illustration was her true passion, and she now dreams of illustrating picture books. She finds endless inspiration in her daughters, living in the forest, travels and folktales. While drawing, she is usually listening to a captivating novel.

Dorot enjoys working with mixed media, including gouache, oil pastels, and crayons, and she adds the final touches digitally.
